Since its birth in 2006, the Illusione brand has quickly become one of the highly sought-after boutique/small batch cigars, receiving more ratings above 90 points than most mainstream cigar brands. It was founded by Dion Giolito, a native of Nevada. Inspired by the pre-1979 Joya de Nicaragua cigars, with his acute insight into tobacco and talent for blending, he created this brand. It was first sold in the Reno area and then expanded nationwide due to favorable reviews. Many of its products are made in factories in Nicaragua and often appear on the Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 list. It offers rich flavor without being full-bodied, providing an excellent experience.
Packed full of Nicaraguan Aganorsa long leaves all masked by a Criollo 98 and Corojo 99 binder. Outside rests a San Andres maduro wrapper. Full-flavored, rich, earthy with a touch of cocoa on the finish. Medium.
