Erik Espinosa is one of the "young guns" of the cigar industry who began making his mark as early as 1997. Having worked with such companies as Gurkha, Alec Bradley, Drew Estate, and Rocky Patel cigars, he's worked in practically every phase of the business from sales manager, to independent tobacco broker, to owning his own retail cigar store.
Today, Erik is the blender and manufacturer for some of the best boutique cigars. Made at his La Zona factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, they include 601, Espinosa, La Zona, and Laranja Reserva.
Introducing the #13 Cigar in 2015. Espinosa Laranja Reserva.
Crafted by Erik Espinosa at his La Zona factory in Nicaragua the Laranja has quickly climbed up the ladder as one of the top cigars in the industry. Starting with its 94-point rating. Espinosa Laranja boasts a Brazilian wrapper leaf grown in the Bahia region. It has a slight orange tint to it upon first visual. Encased beneath this gorgeous wrapper leaf is an arsenal of refined Nicaraguan long-fillers. With a true Cuban style profile this cigar will certainly bring you back to the glory days.
Exquisite notes of spice, nuts, cedar, and pepper will coat the palate with an inspiring natural sweetness on the finish. Complex, and balanced the only word I can use to describe this cigar is “WOW!” Medium to full bodied.
