Viva La Vida was created by Billy and Gus Fakih, successful cigar retailers. They started Artesano del Tobacco in 2015 and launched Viva La Vida. Made by AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua, it became popular among cigar lovers through word of mouth. The Famous-exclusive box press version has a blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos under a Nicaraguan Habano 2000 wrapper. It's sweet, spicy, complex, and full-bodied without being overpowering.
A delicious sweetness highlighted by notes of black pepper, spice, leather, and earth add complexity to this full-strength cigar. Its beautifully aged Connecticut grown Habano-seed maduro wrapper covers a Nicaraguan Corojo binder and a filler made of Nicaraguan Criollo ’98 tobacco. To develop the blend and craft the cigars for their milestone anniversary cigar, Artesano del Tobacco enlisted famed cigarmaker AJ Fernandez. The Viva La Vida 5th Anniversary cigar is handmade in Nicaragua.
