Villiger, founded in 1888, has a long tobacco history. Based in Pfeffikon, Switzerland, it was known for machine-made and dry-cured cigars. Now, Villiger North America focuses on premium hand-rolled cigars from top manufacturers. It overcame the perception of machine-made smokes by perfecting blends and packaging. Magazines and online pubs praise its new cigars. The premium line includes Villiger Colorado, etc. The Villiger Colorado, with Nicaraguan fillers and special wrappers, has a medium-full flavor of coffee, cocoa and sweetness.
Handrolled using a blend of fillers from the Dominican Republic & Nicaragua, a Peruvian binder and a lovely Ecuador Desflorado wrapper. Mild to medium in body. Pleasant and smooth, but straightforward and one-dimensional.
