My Father

My Father Cigars are a tribute from Jaime Garcia to his father, the legendary Don Pepin Garcia. Made in their brand new Nicaraguan facility, these are amazingly flavorful with peppery bursts under a core of dark roast coffee and roasted nuts as a result of the Ecuadorian Rosado Habano wrapper, and the Nicaraguan binder and filler. They’re hard to find at times, and they’re not cheap, but you can expect a very special medium-bodied smoking experience. With the entire My Father portfolio highly acclaimed, it’s hard to pass up these beauties. Be sure to try the 97-rated My Father La Bijou 1922, a medium to full-bodied masterpiece delivering notes of chocolate-covered raisins, leather, and a salty-sweet finish.

My Father is an exceptional blend developed by Don Pepin Garcia's son Jaime. Although Jaime looks like he wants to kill you, he's actually a jovial fellow and the whole family has a wonderful American success story, an incredible rise from poverty in oppressive Cuba to one of the largest and most renowned cigar producing operations in all of Central America. The tobaccos have been meticulously selected. The gorgeous wrapper is Habano-seed grown in Ecuador. Gorgeous, dark, and oily. The filler blend is bold and rich - a collection of aged Nicaraguan tobaccos grown in Nicaragua from Cuban seed. The result is a very rich, round, smooth, and elegant smoke offering ample notes of pepper, nuts and coffee. Surprisingly smooth, sweet, and creamy for such a satisfying, robust, and full-bodied cigar. Rated 94.
