My Father

My Father Cigars are a tribute from Jaime Garcia to his father, the legendary Don Pepin Garcia. Made in their brand new Nicaraguan facility, these are amazingly flavorful with peppery bursts under a core of dark roast coffee and roasted nuts as a result of the Ecuadorian Rosado Habano wrapper, and the Nicaraguan binder and filler. They’re hard to find at times, and they’re not cheap, but you can expect a very special medium-bodied smoking experience. With the entire My Father portfolio highly acclaimed, it’s hard to pass up these beauties. Be sure to try the 97-rated My Father La Bijou 1922, a medium to full-bodied masterpiece delivering notes of chocolate-covered raisins, leather, and a salty-sweet finish.

Flor de las Antillas is a gem from Don Pepin Garcia. It was voted the #1 Cigar of the Year by Cigar Aficionado, and rated an astronomical '96.' Translated, the name means 'Flower of the Antilles,' a nod to Pepin Garcia's Cuban cigar heritage. Simply put, this blend is a treat. Blended with all-Nicaraguan tobaccos, it's built like a brick house - perfectly constructed, heavy in the hand, and beautifully box-pressed. The wrapper is a gorgeous, dark brown, sun grown leaf from Nicaragua that's super smooth and oily. You almost want to bite this like a candy bar. The filler blend is 100% Nicaraguan long-leaf. Loaded with complexity yet finely balanced, it's very smooth smoking, offering hints of pepper, cedar, cocoa, and baked bread. Medium to full in body and delicious right down to the nub. Cigar Aficionado noted: "Delicious from the first puff, with notes of nutmeg, white pepper and just enough strength without being overpowering....hard to put down."
