In 2017, when Altadis U.S.A. began distributing boutique blend cigars, brand owner Rafael Nodal decided to focus on expanding his "Aging Room" series, so he delisted the Oliveros Gran Retorno cigars. However, he never gave up on the brand. Instead, he decided to turn Oliveros Gran Retorno into a long-term aging project. The Gran Retorno series, in collaboration with Plasencia cigars in Nicaragua, undergoes a unique aging process of 33 months. Available in Connecticut wrapper, Havana wrapper, and Maduro wrapper versions, it offers a rich tasting experience.
